Crypto Payment Terms
Last updated: October 17, 2026
These Crypto Payment Terms (the "Crypto Terms") apply when you pay Arct Technology LLC ("Arct Cloud", "we", "us", "our"), with cryptocurrency. They explain how crypto payments are priced and confirmed, and what happens when a payment does not match its invoice.
These Crypto Terms form part of, and are incorporated into, our Terms of Service (the "Terms"). Words defined in the Terms, such as "Services", "Console" and "Account", have the same meaning here. For crypto payments, these Crypto Terms control where they conflict with the Terms. On every other point, the Terms apply as written.
These Crypto Terms apply to every payment you make with cryptocurrency. By choosing cryptocurrency as your payment method, you accept them. If you do not agree to them, do not pay with cryptocurrency.
Nothing in these Crypto Terms limits a right you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by contract.
1. Definitions
- Processor: the third-party payment service that processes crypto payments for us. On the date shown above, the Processor is Cryptomus. Our Subprocessors page names the current Processor. The Processor is an independent third party. We do not control its systems, exchange rates, confirmation requirements or compliance decisions.
- Invoice: a request for payment, in US dollars, that we issue for an order, a renewal, an upgrade difference or usage charges.
- Quote: the payment details the Processor creates when you choose to pay an Invoice with cryptocurrency. A Quote shows the asset and network to use, the deposit address, any memo or tag, and the amount of the asset to send.
- Quote Window: the period during which a Quote stays open for payment. It is shown on the Quote.
- USD Value: the US dollar value of a crypto payment, as recorded by the Processor at its exchange rate when it confirms the payment. For a payment of the exact amount on an open Quote, the USD Value is the US dollar amount of the Invoice that the Quote is for.
- Network Fee: the fee a blockchain network charges to process a transfer, sometimes called gas.
- Account credit: a US dollar balance on your Account that you add with a payment, or that we record from a crypto payment we could not apply to an Invoice (section 3.13 of the Terms).
2. Crypto payment is optional
Paying with cryptocurrency is optional. You can choose card payment at checkout instead.
You can pay only with the assets and networks shown at checkout when you pay. Examples include Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC and Solana. The list at checkout is the current list. We do not promise to support any particular asset or network.
We may add, suspend or remove an asset or network at any time, for example when the Processor stops supporting it, for legal or security reasons, or because a network is not working reliably. A change does not affect a Quote that is already open, unless the Processor can no longer process it or the law or a security issue requires otherwise. Section 17 covers what happens if we stop accepting cryptocurrency altogether.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for the unavailability, suspension, modification or removal of any asset, network or other part of the crypto payment option.
3. How crypto payments are processed
The Processor handles every crypto payment. You send your payment to an address the Processor controls, and the Processor confirms the payment to us.
- We do not hold, store or have custody of cryptocurrency or other funds on your behalf. We do not control wallet compatibility, network selection, confirmation requirements or settlement timing.
- The Processor may convert crypto payments into US dollars or another currency for us.
- We do not operate a wallet for you. Account credit cannot be transferred to another person.
- A payment to add account credit follows section 11. Funds sent against an Invoice that cannot be applied to it are reconciled under sections 6 to 9 before any amount is recorded as account credit.
- We accept cryptocurrency only as payment for our own Services. We do not exchange, transmit or pay out cryptocurrency for you, except to make a refund or return under section 18, and we do not provide money transmission, currency exchange, custody, brokerage or other financial or virtual asset services. Nothing in these Crypto Terms creates a trust, escrow or fiduciary relationship between you and us.
The Processor may ask you to accept its own terms before you pay. Those terms govern your relationship with the Processor, and you must comply with them. Subject to the payment records rule in section 5, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for the acts, omissions, errors, delays, insolvency or compliance decisions of the Processor, including a decision to freeze, hold, reject or return a payment.
4. Prices, Invoices and Quotes
Our prices are set in US dollars. They are listed on the pricing page, and checkout shows the price of your order.
When you choose to pay an Invoice with cryptocurrency, the Processor creates a Quote. It converts the US dollar amount of the Invoice into the asset you selected, at its exchange rate at that moment.
- A Quote is valid only during its Quote Window. The Quote Window is shown on the Quote and is currently 1 hour. The period shown on the Quote controls.
- When a Quote expires, you can get a new Quote for the same Invoice while that Invoice is still open. A new Quote uses the exchange rate at the time it is issued, so the amount of the asset can differ.
- We do not adjust a Quote or a payment for later changes in the market price of an asset.
- The Processor sets the exchange rate and the amount of the asset on each Quote, and the rate may include the Processor's spread or fees. By paying a Quote, you accept that rate and amount. We do not negotiate, guarantee or adjust them.
Cryptocurrency payments for Services, including first payments, renewals, upgrade differences and usage charges, are paid against an Invoice through a Quote. Payments to add account credit use the separate payment flow described in section 11.
5. Sending a payment
Amount, asset, network and address
- Send the exact amount of the asset shown on the Quote, on the network shown, to the deposit address shown, before the Quote Window ends.
- If the Quote shows a memo, tag or destination tag, include it. A payment without it may not be matched to your Invoice.
- Pay from a wallet you own or control, or from an exchange account in your name. We may refuse a payment that a third party makes for you. If we refuse it, we may return it to that payer, after any screening section 12 requires, and not to you. A refused third-party payment is not credited to your Account.
Network fees and exchange fees
You pay the Network Fee for your transfer, any fee your wallet or exchange charges and any conversion or processing fee the Processor charges you. These fees do not reduce the amount due. The full amount on the Quote must arrive at the deposit address. Some exchanges deduct their withdrawal fee from the amount they send, so check the amount that will arrive before you send it.
Confirmations
A payment is complete when the Processor confirms it on the blockchain with the number of network confirmations the Processor requires for that asset and network. Confirmation times vary, and we do not control them. We provision an order, apply a renewal or record account credit only after the payment is complete.
An Invoice is paid when the Processor confirms a successful payment and we apply it to that Invoice, or as the payment records rule below provides. Do not send payment to an expired Quote. If a transfer is pending when the Quote expires, check the Processor's payment page or contact support before paying again.
Payment records
We rely on the Processor's records of the amount, asset, network, time of receipt and confirmations to decide whether and when a payment was received. Except for manifest error or the proof described in the next paragraph, those records are final. If you think a record is wrong, open a support ticket with the transaction hash, and we will review it with the Processor.
If you show that you sent the exact amount of the asset shown on an open Quote, on the network shown, to its deposit address with any required memo or tag, before the Quote Window ended, and the transfer is confirmed on the blockchain, we treat the Invoice as paid from that time even if the Processor does not confirm it. We resolve the matter with the Processor. You must give us the transaction hash and any other information we reasonably request to verify the transfer. This rule does not apply to a payment that is held, rejected or blocked under section 12.
Your payment obligations
Except where we treat an Invoice as paid under the payment records rule above, your obligation to pay an Invoice is not reduced, suspended or excused by an error, delay or failure of a blockchain, network, wallet, exchange or the Processor. You remain responsible for the full amount of each Invoice until it is paid.
6. Underpayment
An underpayment does not settle the Invoice. Send an additional payment only if the Processor's payment page expressly permits it. Otherwise, contact support with the Invoice number and transaction hash before sending more funds.
We reconcile the amount confirmed as received. With your agreement, we apply it to an eligible Invoice. Any amount not applied to an Invoice is added to your Account's account credit. It is not refunded.
7. Overpayment and duplicate payments
If you overpay an Invoice or pay it twice, contact support with the payment details. We verify the amount due and the excess confirmed as received. With your agreement, we apply the excess to another eligible Invoice. Any excess not applied to an Invoice is added to your Account's account credit. It is not refunded.
8. Payments after a Quote expires
Do not intentionally pay an expired Quote. A payment reported as successful by the Processor may settle an Invoice that remains payable. If the Invoice is cancelled, already paid or cannot be fulfilled, contact support with the transaction hash.
We review and reconcile the confirmed funds. With your agreement, we apply them to an eligible Invoice. After the review, any amount not applied to an Invoice is added to your Account's account credit at the confirmed USD Value. It is not refunded. A late payment cannot restore a Server that has already been deleted.
9. Wrong asset, network or address
You are responsible for sending the asset shown on the Quote, on the network shown, to the deposit address shown, with any memo or tag the Quote requires. A payment sent in another asset, on another network, to another address or without a required memo or tag may be lost. Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed.
- If this happens, open a support ticket with the transaction hash. We may, at our discretion, ask the Processor whether the funds can be recovered.
- Neither we nor the Processor is obliged to attempt or achieve recovery, and we do not guarantee it.
- If funds are recovered, we confirm the recovered amount and any documented recovery costs and Network Fees. The recovered amount, less those costs and fees, is added to your Account's account credit. It is not refunded.
- We are not responsible for a payment sent to an address that does not come from an open Quote for one of your Invoices, or for a payment sent from a wallet, exchange, smart contract or network that the Quote does not support.
10. Renewals and unpaid Invoices
Servers paid with cryptocurrency do not renew automatically. Each renewal is paid by Invoice.
- Before each renewal, we issue a renewal Invoice and send it to your account email. Pay the renewal Invoice by its due date.
- To pay a renewal Invoice with cryptocurrency, get a Quote for it in the Console. If the Quote Window ends before you pay, get a new Quote before the due date.
- If any Invoice on your Account is not paid by its due date, the non-payment rules in section 3.10 of the Terms apply. We suspend your Account from the due date. On day 21 after the due date, we permanently delete all Servers, backups, snapshots and other data on the Account. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
- You are responsible for tracking your Invoices and paying them before their due dates. We are not responsible for loss of data caused by non-payment. Not receiving an Invoice email, or the expiry of a Quote, does not extend an Invoice's due date.
- If you do not want to renew, cancel the server in the Console instead of leaving the renewal Invoice unpaid.
11. Account credit
- Account credit is recorded in US dollars. It pays an Invoice when you choose to pay with it, or on the due date if you turn on auto pay, as section 3.13 of the Terms describes.
- Crypto payments to add credit are credited at the USD Value the Processor reports as received, up to the amount you chose (more if you overpay, once your Account has paid an Invoice by card or cryptocurrency) and up to the maximum balance shown at checkout. We contact you about any amount we do not credit.
- Account credit is a prepaid balance for our Services, not a bank account. It has no use outside your Account and cannot be transferred to another Account or person.
- Account credit is non-refundable and is not paid out, including when your Account closes or is deleted.
- If a crypto payment that added account credit is held, rejected, blocked or returned under section 12, or is found to breach these Crypto Terms, we may hold or remove the corresponding account credit. Any part already spent remains owed.
- Account credit is different from promotional credit. Promotional grants have no cash redemption value and follow the offer and our Promotional Credit and Discount Terms.
12. Compliance reviews and holds
Screening
The sanctions rules in the Terms apply to every crypto payment.
Prohibited payments
You must not:
- pay from or through a mixer, tumbler or other service designed to hide the origin of funds;
- pay with funds that come from crime, fraud, ransomware, darknet markets or stolen assets;
- pay on behalf of, or with funds of, a person who is sanctioned or located in a sanctioned territory under the Terms;
- split, route or time payments, or use any other technique, to avoid or circumvent screening, limits or other compliance controls of ours or of the Processor;
- use the crypto payment option for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose; or
- use payments or overpayments to move value for yourself or anyone else.
Holds and requests for information
- We or the Processor may delay, hold, reject or return a payment for compliance, sanctions, fraud-prevention or risk reasons, including while it is reviewed. The Processor may screen, delay or freeze payments under its own compliance program. During a review, we may delay provisioning or a renewal, and we may suspend the related Service.
- We may ask you for information about your identity, your business, the wallet you used or the source of the funds. If you do not provide it within the time we give, we may cancel the order. The payment is not refunded.
- If a review clears a payment, we treat it as received at the time the Processor received it.
- Where the law requires us or the Processor to block, freeze or report funds, we do so. Blocked funds are not returned while the law requires them to stay blocked.
- We may refuse a payment from, and may decline to send any refund or return to, a wallet address, exchange or jurisdiction that we or the Processor reasonably associate with sanctions, fraud, theft or other unlawful activity.
- Where we reasonably suspect that funds derive from unlawful activity, we may hold them and release them only as a competent authority or court directs or as the law allows. We may report a payment, and share related information with the Processor, law enforcement or a competent authority, where we believe in good faith that the law requires or permits it. The law may prevent us from telling you that we have done so.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for a delay, hold, rejection, return, report or refusal that the law, a sanctions rule or the Processor's compliance program requires, or that we make in good faith under this section 12, or for any change in the value of an asset during it.
Your confirmations
Each time you pay with cryptocurrency, you confirm that:
- you own or control the wallet or exchange account the payment comes from;
- the funds are lawfully yours to use and do not derive from unlawful activity; and
- you are not paying for, or with funds of, a person described in section 9.2 of the Terms.
A payment in breach of this section 12 is a material breach of the Terms. We may suspend or terminate your Account under section 10 of the Terms, and your indemnity under section 16 of the Terms applies to any claim that results.
13. Taxes
- Section 3.11 of the Terms (Taxes) applies to crypto payments. A Quote covers the full Invoice total, including any tax on it.
- Acquiring, holding, spending or converting cryptocurrency may have tax consequences for you. You are responsible for your own taxes and tax reporting on your crypto transactions. We do not give tax, investment, legal or financial advice.
14. No interest
We pay no interest or other return on any payment, account credit or amount held under these Crypto Terms, including during a review or hold, and we pay no compensation for a change in the value of an asset. This does not apply where the law requires blocked funds to be held in an interest-bearing account.
15. Risks and responsibility
- Blockchain transfers are final. Neither we nor the Processor can reverse them.
- Crypto asset prices can change quickly. You bear the risk of price changes in any asset you hold, before and after you pay, including between the time a Quote is issued and the time a payment is confirmed, refunded or returned.
- Except as section 5 provides, an Invoice stays unpaid until the Processor confirms payment of it in full.
- Networks can be congested, fork, be attacked, change their rules or stop working. Wallets, exchanges and the Processor can be unavailable. We do not control them and do not guarantee confirmation times or network availability.
- The Processor decides which chain or token it recognises after a fork, airdrop or token migration. We are not obliged to support any fork, airdrop, migrated token or new network.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the crypto payment option is provided "as is" and "as available". We give no warranty that a particular asset, network, wallet or exchange will work with the checkout, that a payment will be confirmed or settled successfully or on time, that a network will remain stable, or that the Processor will keep supporting an asset or network.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for loss caused by your own wallet, exchange or wallet software, including duplicate or partial submissions, by an error in the asset, network, address, memo or tag you use, or by congestion, forks, attacks or outages of a blockchain network.
- This section does not limit our liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any liability that the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise, the liability terms in the Terms apply. This section does not limit your statutory rights.
16. Payment data and privacy
For crypto payments, we and the Processor process Invoice details, wallet addresses, transaction hashes, amounts, networks, timestamps and screening results. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use this data. The Processor also processes payment data under its own privacy notice. We may share this data with law enforcement or a competent authority as section 12 allows.
Blockchain transactions are public and permanent. We cannot change or delete a record on a blockchain.
17. Changes
Changes to these Crypto Terms
We may change these Crypto Terms. We give at least 30 days' notice of a material change by email and in the Console, with the reasons for it. If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel the affected Services before it takes effect. Changes that do not reduce your rights, and changes the law requires, may take effect sooner, as section 18.4 of the Terms provides.
Changes to assets, networks, the Quote Window and the Processor
The accepted assets and networks, the Quote Window and the Processor's confirmation requirements can change without a change to these Crypto Terms. The checkout and the Quote show the current details. We may replace the Processor. The Subprocessors page names the current Processor.
If we stop accepting cryptocurrency
We may modify, suspend or stop the crypto payment option, in whole or in part, at any time, including because of a change in the Processor's support, the law or regulatory guidance, security or operational reasons, or risk management. Where reasonably practicable, we give notice by email before we stop accepting cryptocurrency altogether. You can then pay renewals by card or cancel. Account credit remains usable for our Services. Section 2 covers our liability for these changes.
18. Refunds and returns of crypto payments
Crypto payments are final and non-refundable, as section 4.3 of the Terms provides for all payments. This section applies only where we decide, or mandatory law requires us, to refund or return all or part of a crypto payment, including a return under section 5 or section 12.
- Amount. A refund or return is calculated from the USD Value of the payment, or of the part being refunded, and not from the quantity of the asset you sent. To the extent the law allows, we deduct Network Fees, Processor charges and other costs of sending it, and we make no adjustment for a change in the market price of the asset.
- Method. To the extent the law allows, we choose whether to pay it in the original asset or in a US dollar stablecoin or other method the Processor supports, converted at the Processor's rate when it is sent. With your agreement, we may add it to your Account's account credit instead.
- Mandatory law. Where mandatory consumer law requires a refund by a particular method, in full or without deduction, we follow that law.
- Refund address. We send a crypto refund or return only to a wallet address you control (or, for a third-party payment returned under section 5, that the payer controls), on a network the Processor supports, after any verification and screening we or the Processor require. You are responsible for the accuracy of the address, network, memo and tag you give us. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for funds sent to the details you gave us, and we do not resend them.
- Missing details. If you do not give us a valid refund address and the information we request within the time we give, we may record the amount as account credit, to the extent the law allows, or deal with it as applicable unclaimed property law requires.
- Holds. We do not refund or return funds while section 12 requires them to be held or blocked. Refunds and returns carry no interest (section 14).
