Find Your Server’s IP Address

Go to Virtual Machines, click your server name. The IP address is on the detail page.

Connect

Windows
macOS
Linux

Press Windows + R, type mstsc, press Enter
Enter your server’s IP address
Click Connect (accept any certificate warning)
Log in as Administrator with the password from server creation

Install Microsoft Remote Desktop
Click + > Add PC, enter your server’s IP address
Double-click to connect
Log in as Administrator with the password from server creation

Install Remmina: sudo apt install remmina remmina-plugin-rdp
Create a new RDP connection with your server’s IP address
Log in as Administrator with the password from server creation

Troubleshooting

Cannot connect

Verify the server status is Running
Verify the IP address is correct
RDP uses port 3389 — make sure it’s not blocked by your network

Wrong credentials

Username is Administrator. Use the password from server creation.

Black screen after connecting

Disconnect and reconnect, or use the VNC Console on the server detail page.
